Fahim Uddin purchased and rehabbed an old building in Detroit in order to convert it into a skilled nursing home.  Mr. Uddin, who has over twenty years experience in health care, utilized MCDC/SBA for three separate skilled nursing projects in the Detroit area.  This facility is a 122 bed skilled nursing home certified for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.

The SBA 504 Loan Program assisted Mr. Uddin and JPMorgan Chase in the purchase of the real estate and equipment with a small down payment and a long term fixed rate of 4.53% on the SBA loan amount.
