Thank you. I feel very fortunate to have my dream office's finances secured with the SBA program. The fixed low rate is very much appreciated.
You and all of your people have been a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. Please pass my regards on to them.
Ace Companies LLC is a Minority Owned Aluminum Recycling and Smelting Company located in Benton Harbor, Michigan. We were pleased to have Jane Sherzer and her staff from the MCDC assist us in obtaining an SBA 504 Loan during our efforts to purchase a plant in Benton Harbor. With the help of the MCDC we were able to develop a banking relationship, complete our purchase, hire 10 employes with plans to add 20 additional workers by December 2006. We would not have been able to complete our purchase without the Skill, Knowledge, and Experience of Jane and her staff at the MCDC.
We are in the final stages (could still fall thru, you never know, but we expect a purchase order this week) of acquiring a production machining line located in Romulus. This equipment produced connecting rods for GM, until their bankruptcy last year and was forced to close. Approximately 20 direct jobs and another 6 or 8 indirect jobs ended up in Mexico....if we're successful in completing this deal, we will be reopening this plant and start producing production connecting rods for a Conner customer named, Mahle, Inc. These rods will go in Chryslers 3.6 ltr engine.
This is a five year contract to produce 1.2 million parts a year with a selling price of $4.75 each. The tooling investment, shared by Conner and Mahle amounts to over $3 million....with a five year sales dollar of $27 million... this PO will be under Conner Engineering, plant two. We will leave the line in Romulus and lease the building for five years.
I believe you and Pete share in this, if not for your help in financing Conner Engineering we would not have had this opportunity.
These 25 plus jobs will be back in Michigan and most are technical/skilled workers and the pay scale reflects that.
Thanks again to both of you...
Marcia and Feras, Tara and I thank you again for a great experience in helping to finance Genesis Seven and ultimately Ark Animal Clinic. You both worked so well together and you kept us very well informed throughout the entire (fast) process. Certainly it appears that the timing of the loan could not have been better with regard to the interest rate! Hope you both have a good productive year.
